(A) The rCAST score consists of five variables: initial rhythm, time from cardiac arrest until ROSC (until ROSC time), arterial blood pH and lactate level obtained within 30 min after ROSC, and the motor component of the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS M). (B) The rCAST score is calculated by summing the products of each categorical variable and its corresponding weight. Time until ROSC, time from cardiac arrest until return of spontaneous circulation.
