CRPv as a predictor: The study shows that CRPv levels are significantly associated with the probability of delivery within 48 h in PPROM patients. With an AUC of 0.675 and a sensitivity of 70%, CRPv can serve as a reliable biomarker for early identification of patients at high risk of rapid labor, allowing clinicians to make timely decisions regarding monitoring and interventions
IBI as a management tool: This study reveals that IBI can be a valuable indicator for assessing preterm labor risk and has sensitivity and specificity values that support its potential use in clinical practice. In particular, patients with IBI values >35.8 should be closely monitored for PPROM and prioritized for labor preparation
