In 2 separate GO analyses, we examined 53 (A) and 26 (B) proteins that were upregulated and downregulated in relation to CAA in protein-wide association analyses. The findings indicate that the strongest enrichments by the upregulated proteins were observed in the extracellular region, followed by collagen-containing extracellular matrix, locomotion, heparin-binding, and cell differentiation pathways. However, only 3 pathways were enriched by the downregulated proteins, including the endosomal sorting complexes required for transport, regulation of secretion by cell, and regulation of vesicle-mediated transport.
