Western blot analysis showing SAVs produced by hosts WB800 and WB800BIO. Cells were cultured in CA medium containing vitamin-free Casamino Acids. SAVs in the culture supernatants were analyzed on a 12% polyacrylamide gel containing SDS, and the blot was probed against SAV-specific antiserum. All samples were boiled prior to loading onto the gel. M, molecular weight marker; lane1, WB800BIO(pSSAV-Tcry); lane 2, WB800(pSSAV-Tcry). No biotin was included in the medium for lanes 1 and 2.
