Figure 6.

Radiographic and Echocardiographic Evidence of Cardiac Size Reduction Following 56 Days of ForteGold Treatment in a Test Group Dog. Thoracic radiographs and echocardiographic images were obtained from a dog in Group 1 (test group) prior to and 56 days after initiating treatment with the combination tablet (ForteGold). After 56 days of therapy, thoracic radiography revealed a reduction in both the vertebral heart scale (VHS) and the vertebral left atrial size (VLAS), which decreased from 12.0 to 10.5 and from 2.8 to 2.2, respectively. Echocardiographic assessment similarly demonstrated a notable improvement in cardiac dimensions, with the left atrial-to-aortic root ratio (LA/Ao) decreasing from 2.78 to 2.1, indicating a reduction in left atrial enlargement.

Thoracic radiographs (A, C) and echocardiographic images (B, D) from a Group 1 (test group) dog, taken before and 56 days after treatment with the combination tablet (ForteGold). Following treatment, the vertebral heart scale (VHS) and vertebral left atrial size (VLAS) on thoracic radiography decreased from 12.0 and 2.8 to 10.5 and 2.2, respectively (A, C). Similarly, the left atrial-to-aortic root diameter ratio (LA/Ao) on echocardiography was reduced from 2.78 to 2.1 (B, D).
