Figure 1. AOR for likelihood to have been tested for influenza by income, controlling for demographics and likelihood to test for COVID-19. An online cross-sectional study of US residents aged 13 years and older was carried out to assess self-reported influenza testing in the last 30 days for the 2021‐2022 (n=335,964), 2022‐2023 (n=209,646), and 2023‐2024 (n=269,624) influenza seasons. A weighted multivariate logistic regression was used to assess likelihood of influenza testing by income when controlling for demographics and COVID-19 testing. In all three seasons, those with lower incomes were observed to have a higher likelihood of testing for influenza, and those with higher incomes were less likely. AOR: adjusted odds ratio.
