Summary of contraction events for (CAG)₂₅₊₈ in 293T cells. Contraction sizes were determined by single-colony PCR amplification of the repeat tract, followed by size measurements on DNA sequencing gels. Sizes of the contractions were determined (±1–2 repeats) by comparison with an M13 DNA sequencing ladder.
