(A) RNA gel blot containing 10 μg of total RNA samples purified from roots, stems, shoot tips, mature leaves, flower buds, flowers, seed coats, and cotyledons of soybean plants (cv Williams) (ii, R, T, w1, and Wp). Seed coats and cotyledons from three different stages of seed development were used. Seed fresh weight in milligrams is shown at bottom. The Gm-c1012-683 cDNA clone was used as probe.
(B) Ethidium bromide–stained gel prior to membrane transfer. The 25 S rRNA is shown to compare RNA sample loading.
