Figure 5. Proportion of muscles with new spreading events over time by treatment group and MUNIX cut-off.

Figure 5.

Proportion of muscles with newly defined spreading events between baseline and day 90, as well as between day 90 and day 180. Treatment groups: placebo (blue), fasudil 15 mg (red), and fasudil 30 mg (green). Cut-off thresholds are given at ≥10%, ≥20%, ≥30%. Generalized linear mixed-effects logistic regression model (GLMM) including a random intercept for each subject to capture within-subject correlation were used to assess the effect of treatment group on newly affected muscles. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for fixed effects were obtained. Correction for family-wise error rate was performed using the Benjamini-Hochberg method. *30mg vs. placebo: OR 0.36 (95% CI: 0.17 to 0.74; padj = 0.035, praw = 0.006) ** 30mg vs. placebo: OR 0.36 (95% CI: 0.17 to 0.74; padj = 0.035, praw = 0.006); 15mg vs. placebo OR 0.42 (95% CI: 0.20 to 0.89; padj = 0.09, praw = 0.023).
