Algorithm 1 Check Patient Risk
  1. Input:data, model

  2. Output: Patient risk assessment

  3. Extract age_group and pregnancy_status from data

  4. Predict disease using model and select the category with the highest probability

  5. Define high-risk criteria: age_group (child or elderly) or pregnancy_status (pregnant)

  6. If predicted disease ≠ Healthy:
    • (a)
      If patient meets high-risk criteria: HIGH RISK: predicted disease and risk factors
    • (b)
      Else: AT RISK: predicted disease
  7. ElseIf patient meets high-risk criteria: AT RISK due to high-risk condition

  8. Else: NOT at Risk
