Checkerboard analysis of chemokinetic cell movement induced by metallothionein. Metallothionein has both chemokinetic and chemotactic activities. Significant chemotactic movement is measured when metallothionein is presented from below the filter. Chemokinetic movement is indicated when metallothionein is present above the filter, or in both chambers. The data is representative of three independent experiments.
