Probes CFB560, CFB562, and CFB376 (this study) and probe CF319a/b (32). PCR-amplified 16S rDNAs from target and nontarget bacteria were fixed onto nylon membrane and hybridized against probes under optimized conditions. The phylogeny of test organisms stated here is as listed in the RDP (release 8.0) small-subunit phylogentic trees.
