gf indicates gain of function. lf indicates loss of function. ts indicates temperature sensitive. lin-1(n2515) was linked to unc-17(e113) in these strains, and sur-6(ku123 lf) was linked to unc-29(e403) in these strains. huIs1 contains a gain-of-function mutation in bar-1 under the control of a heat shock promoter (hs::delNTbar-1).
