Prespore cell fate bias in G1-phase cells. Wild-type cells (AX4) marked with a ubiquitously expressed GFP reporter gene (act15/GFP) were mixed at a 1:9 ratio with unlabeled cells and allowed to develop on agar into slugs and fruiting bodies.
