Coupling log(Γν(ε)) between the substrate and the HOMO, LUMO, lowest π-state and a π-state about 5 eV above the HOMO as a function of the lattice parameter of the buffers (LiF, MgO, NaF, NaCl, KBr and RbI). For the HOMO the coupling was calculated for substrate states at ε = 0.4 eV and in the other three cases for ε = 1.6 eV.
