Haemodynamic variables. Variables were recorded during the pulse high-volume haemofiltration (PHVHF) session, and 6 hours and 12 hours after completion of the session. Noradrenaline (norepinephrine [NE]) requirement decreased significantly during treatment, and this reduction persisted at 6 hours and 12 hours after treatment (P = 0.0001). *P < 0.05 and aP < 0.01 for difference between pre-PHVHF and other measures over time. Sytolic blood pressure (SBP) increased significantly during treatment, and this was maintained 6 hours and 12 hours after treatment (P = 0.04). All reported values are means.
