We indicate here the values of the proper motion, distance and inclination angle used in this analysis, which are used to calculate apparent speeds, intrinsic speeds as a fraction of the speed of light (β), corresponding Lorentz factors (Γ) and their product (βΓ). If the proper motion implies an intrinsic speed β ≥ 0.9, we assume this to be a lower limit (corresponding to Γ ≥ 2.3), following the discussion and analysis in ref. 27. The other columns include the nature of the compact object (BH, NS or unknown (?)) and information about the jet properties, namely, speed (slow (S), fast (F) or fast and unconstrained (>F)) and direction (locked (L), precessing (P) or unknown (?)). Also listed are spin values a* from the reflection (refl), continuum (cont) and QPO methods, respectively.
