The effects of variable concentrations of AgBG, BG, and 45S5 on growth and viability of E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and S. aureus. Bacteria were inoculated into the appropriate growth medium containing a known amount of the relevant biomaterial. Cultures were incubated for 20 h, after which time samples were taken for viable count determinations. The initial inoculation density is shown on each panel.
