^aComplement-inactivated rabbit sera were mixed with 10⁶ cells of S. agalactiae M732 and were injected by the intraperitoneal route into neonatal mice. They were monitored for 48 h, and the number of deaths was recorded. Results shown are the totals for three separate experiments.
