Inhibition of proliferation by class-specific anti-MHC monoclonal antibodies. PBMC from a patient demonstrating a positive proliferative response to human hsp60 were incubated at a concentration of 3 × 10⁵/ml with 10 μg of human hsp60/ml in the presence or absence of monoclonal antibodies recognizing different MHC class II gene products for 6 days. Isotype-matched control antibodies were also included. Data are expressed in mean counts per minute ± standard errors of triplicate cultures.
