The black line represents the group mean MSE during RPM performance, while the gray line indicates the group mean MSE during rest, averaged across participants and electrodes. Statistical significance at each timescale was assessed using paired t-tests across subjects, with p-values corrected for multiple comparisons using the False Discovery Rate (FDR) procedure. Small black asterisks above the curves indicate timescales where the difference between resting-state and RPM performance was significant after FDR correction (p < 0.05).
