Immunofluorescence for desmogleins in the epidermis of mice injected with ETD. Neonatal mice were injected with PBS (A and C) or ETD (B and D) and stained for Dsg1 (A and B) or Dsg3 (C and D). Cell surface staining of Dsg1 in mice injected with ETD is much weaker than that in mice injected with saline alone, whereas the staining of Dsg3 is not affected by injection with ETD.
