Figure 7.

Three heatmaps (a), (b) and (c) respectively present the correlation analysis results between the colour index, texture index, vegetation index and plant cover. Each heatmap employs a colour scale ranging from -1.0 (blue) to 1.0 (red) to visually represent the strength and spatial distribution patterns of correlations between indices and coverage across different locations. Red areas indicate a strong positive correlation between the index and plant coverage, while blue areas denote negative correlations or no relationship. This clearly reveals the varying contributions of different characteristics towards characterising vegetation conditions.
