The selected genes are uniquely expressed after infection with O. muscaedomesticae as compared with other infections and with other studies (supplementary information text part B online). The fold change given is the mean of transformed log2 values of four significant comparisons, and the molecular function is based on NetAffxTM and Flybase () gene ontology (GO) in May 2003.
