Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were obtained from an exploratory multivariable logistic regression analysis. The dependent variable was final surgery type, with bilateral mastectomy as the reference category. Age was entered as a continuous variable. Molecular subtype was collapsed into luminal versus non-luminal. Analyses were restricted to patients with BRCA VUS.
