KA is the equilibrium constant for telomeric duplex formation. <Γ> is the mean time constant. kobs is the observed rate constant. Deq, Qf and Deq/Q0 are duplex, free quadruplex concentrations and fraction of duplex at equilibrium when equimolar concentration of quadruplex and complementary strand (30 nM) are mixed together in 50 mM MES buffer, pH 7 with 100 mM KCl.
