The rate of cleavage of butyl-FLIP increases as a function of the diC6PC activator concentration. The onset of activation is far below the CMC (15 mM), suggesting that monomers of diC6PC activate. The concentration of butyl-FLIP was held constant at 8.6 μM (D-enantiomer). The PI-PLC concentration was 12.9 pM. The solid line was calculated from the general Eq. 5 with a set of parameters similar to those used in fitting the data in Fig. 4 B. Parameters are given in Table 1.
