Annexin 12 does not alter activation of RyR2 channels by Ca²⁺ or suramin. The presence of 2 μM annexin 12 on the trans side of the bilayer does not alter activation of RyR2 channels by 2–10 μM (contaminating levels) of Ca²⁺ (current traces A and B), 100 nM Ca²⁺ (current traces C and D), or 200 μM suramin in the presence of 100 nM Ca²⁺ (current traces E and F). In each current trace the zero net current level is indicated by “c.” For current traces E and F this level is also indicated by a thin horizontal line below the trace.
