The density of the filament is evenly dispersed over two peaks (domains D0, D1, and D2), whereas that of the hook is clustered primarily around a radial distance of 55 Å. Consequently, the filament has a more densely packed, rigid core than the hook, imparting it with a higher degree of stiffness.
