The lines are fits to Eq. 9 (Tm = 297 ± 1 K, ΔE = 14.2 ± 0.2 kcal/mol for GB1p; Tm = 321 ± 1 K, ΔE = 15.0 ± 0.4 kcal/mol for GB1m3). The points corresponding to the two highest temperatures were omitted for GB1p, as removing them resulted in a significantly better fit in terms of χ2 per degree of freedom.
