Subjects were treated with a combination of zidovudine and lamivudine (ZDV+3TC arm) or indinavir, zidovudine, and lamivudine (IDV+ZDV+3TC arm). Analyzed samples were obtained from each subject who had a positive baseline PBMC culture and at least one follow-up culture (either positive or negative).
