Log2 (T cells CD3 + CD4+): CD3 + CD4 + T-cell counts were log2-transformed for analysis. The odds ratio (OR) corresponds to a twofold increase in the original cell count; OR, odds ratio; CI, confidence interval.

Model 1: unadjusted.

Model 2: adjusted for sex, age.

Model 3: adjusted for model 2 + albumin, Tbil, neutrophil count, C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT).

Model 4: adjusted for model 3 + cerebrovascular disease, heart failure.

Model 5: adjusted for model 4 + curb-65 score.

Model 6:adjusted for model 2 + albumin, Tbil, cerebrovascular disease, heart failure.
