Conversion of gene transcripts per cell to gene transcripts applied to the array. The number of molecules per gene hybridized to the array varied between 5.8 × 10⁵ – 7.8 × 10¹⁰ with respect to the reference sample. The reliability threshold in terms of minimum number of molecules per gene applied to arrays for 250 cells, 6.8 × 10⁸, was six times higher than the threshold for 1000 cells.
