Aggregates were isolated from the nuclear (N) and cytoplasmic (C) fractions of HFF cells infected with RCΔ97.08 and are shown with the crude lysates from which they were derived (A). Viral proteins identified by mass spectrometry from tegument aggregates isolated from the nuclear fraction are indicated by arrowheads. The isolation procedure was used to isolate aggregates from uninfected HFF cells and HFF cells infected with RCΔ97.08 or AD169 or infected with AD169 and treated with MBV (B).
