Table 1.

Final root-knot (Meloidogyne species) nematodes population densities per 250 g of soil collected from potato monoculture (P–P), sweet stem sorghum-potato (SSS–P), Cucumis africanus-potato (C–P) and potato(Velum)-potato (PV–P) cropping sequences and tuber yield recorded at the Agricultural Research Council-Vegetable, Industrial and Medicinal Plants (ARC-VIMP) and University of Limpopo.

Means ± standard errors sharing the same lowercase letter within cropping sequences (column) were not significantly different (p ≤ 0.05) within a sequence according to Nemenyi’s post-hoc test and Fischer’s Least Significant Difference test for soil nematode population density and tuber yield mass, respectively.
