Presence of tagged mutants in a screen of a pool of 14 C. jejuni M1 STMs at days 1, 3, and 7 postinoculation. Three birds per time point were infected on day 0 with a pool of mutants and housed in the same cage. The presence of tags was assessed in pooled bacteria isolated from cecal contents and in individual birds at day 7.
