There was an error in the originally published version of Fig. 3 in the Research Article “Estimating the predictability of questionable open-access journals” by H. Zhuang et al.
The following correction has been implemented:
• The originally published version of Fig. 3 incorrectly swapped the content of the graphs in panels A and B. The figure has been corrected. Because of this, the original text noting an increase in number of publications and citation counts over time has been changed to, “…we examined the publishing trend of these journals and found that the number of publications has been increasing with a slight drop in 2019 and 2020, but their citation count increased (Fig. 3, A and B).”
The authors’ conclusions are not affected by this correction. The PDF and online versions have been corrected.
