Time-resolved high-frequency RR spectra obtained after mixing ferrous OxdA (final concentration, 5 μM) with butyraldoxime (final concentration, 200 mM). The spectra were obtained at (a)5,(b) 10, (c) 15, (d) 20, (e) 25, (f) 30, (g) 35, and (h) 40 min, respectively. The RR spectrum of OS-II exhibited ν2, ν3, and ν10 bands at 1,580, 1,504, and 1,636 cm–1, respectively, which are characteristic of a six-coordinated low-spin heme (36, 42).
