(A) Methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme assays with HpaII using two repetitive probes, minor satellite centromeric repeat and an IAP. In these assays, low-molecular-weight bands indicate demethylated restriction sites, while high-molecular-weight bands indicate methylated restriction sites.
