Effect of various DNA-damaging agents on the survival of Pol λ−/− ES cells. Clonogenic survival of Pol λ+/+(solid circles) and Pol λ−/− ES cells (open triangles) after treatment with increasing doses of X-rays (A), UV irradiation (B), H2O2 (C), and MMS (D) is shown. All experiments were performed in triplicate. Consistent results were obtained in different sets of experiments. Data are presented as mean survival rates ± the standard deviation.
