Model for SRC-3 regulation by phosphorylation. In response to the presence of TNF-α or ligands, increased phosphorylation of SRC-3 led to the activation and nuclear translocation of SRC-3. The effects of phosphorylation were similar for NF-κB. The association of SRC-3 with IKK was observed in both the cytoplasm and nucleus but is omitted for the nucleus for clarity.
