CaMKIV is expressed in CD4⁺ naive and memory phenotype T cells. CaMKIV protein expression was detected in thymocytes and in CD4⁺ naive and memory phenotype T cells by Western blotting of whole-cell lysates made from 0.3 × 10⁶ cells. For each cell type the entire lysate was used in the assay, so that signals from equivalent numbers of cells are being compared. The results of one representative experiment (n = 2) are shown.
