2. Area, Solvation Free Energy, and CSS of GRE Tetramer Interfaces.
| PDB ID | GRE | area (Å2) | solvation free energy upon tetramer formation from two dimers (kcal/mol) | CSS (out of 1) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2YAJ | hydroxyphenylacetate decarboxylase (HPAD) | 865 | –6.0 | 0 |
| 2F3O | PFL2 | 1073 | +10.2 | 0 |
| 8ID0 | PflD | 896 | –6.3 | 0 |
Note that there is no solution state evidence for the formation of a tetrameric PflD. However, the tetrameric interface seen in other GREs exists within the crystal lattice of PflD and can therefore be analyzed with PDBePISA.
