^aPanning was performed by incubating the 12mer peptide phage display library with immobilized L. monocytogenes cells from a cocktail of different serotypes. Phage input (number of phages for each pann) and phage recovery (number of phages after elution) were measured by phage titration, and the ratio of phage input to phage recovery was determined.
