Expression of cell cycle regulatory proteins in infected carotid arteries. A representative immunoblot obtained from lysates of pooled carotid arteries isolated from infected mice showed increased expression of phospho-Rb (Ser780) and PCNA and downregulation of p21Cip1/Waf1 20 days postinfection (p.i.).
