IEL were derived from adult, untreated mice, and were purified using flow cytometric sorting. Note the fairly uniform expression of ACE in each sub-population. Abbreviations: TCR, T-cell receptor. Data is derived from semi-quantitative PCR based on the relative expression of beta actin, and is a mean (± SD) of IEL derived from 3 individual sortings.
