Supraportal pattern: Type A, the right posterior sectional bile duct (P) joins the right anterior sectional bile duct (A); Type B, P drains into the confluence of A and left hepatic duct (LHD); and Type C, P enters LHD. Infraportal pattern: Type D, P joins A; Type E, P enters the common hepatic duct.
