| Data format |
Step-by-step protocol with stereotaxic coordinates, anesthesia doses, and behavioral classification criteria |
| Parameters for data collection |
Adult male Wistar rats (500–700 g; 8–9 months); PTZ 37.5 mg/kg i.p.; Paxinos & Watson atlas; Revised Racine scale |
| Description of data collection |
Animals underwent PTZ kindling (7 sessions) followed by stereotaxic callosotomy (PC or TC) and postoperative PTZ rechallenge at day 7 |

| Data accessibility |
The raw data underlying this protocol comprise: (i) video recordings of all PTZ kindling and postoperative rechallenge sessions; (ii) per-animal Racine-grade scoring sheets (duration of each seizure grade per session); (iii) surgical-duration logs; (iv) body-weight records (day of surgery and day of rechallenge); (v) postoperative pain-monitoring sheets; and (vi) the statistical analysis output (R).
