Membranes from cerebellum or COS cells transfected with SI splice variants of type-I IP₃R (last two columns) were incubated with the indicated thiol compounds and assayed for [³H]IP₃ binding as described in the Experimental section. Binding was expressed as a percentage of the binding observed in the absence of thiol compound.
