ASFV IAP cooperates with TRAF-2 in increasing NF-κB activity. A total of 106 Jurkat T lymphocytes were transiently cotransfected with 1 μg of NF-κB luciferase reporter and 500 ng of pcDNA and pcDNA-A224L or 50 ng of the expression vector for TRAF-2. Values represent the fold induction of reporter gene activity for the respective transfections, which were done in triplicate. The value for pcDNA-transfected cells was 830 RLU and was considered 100% activity (onefold).
